Shore to Shoreless is now available as a Free E-Book that can be downloaded from the following Meher Spiritual University URL

This book was first published in 1999 and all printed copies of this book got exhausted. We felt that it would be best if this book is now made available in its electronic version as a free download from the internet. `Shore to Shoreless' tells the story of five tormented individuals who meet accidentally and agree to embark on a voyage across the Ocean of E xistence with Meher Baba. The book follows this interesting journey of this diverse group in search of lasting happiness across its 12 chapters and 460 pages attempting to explore the synergy between Meher Baba's cosmology, diverse religious traditions and modern science.

We hope you will enjoy reading the E-Book edition of this book, which we humbly dedicate at the lotus feet of our Divine Beloved Avatar Meher Baba.

The Journal of Contemporary Literature invites original contributions from critics and scholars from all cultural backgrounds. The ‘Contemporary’ literature will be the literature written since 1950. The journal will also publish book reviews and creative writing (especially poetry). Contributions should conform to the latest edition of the MLA handbook/style sheet. Contributors should send both hard and soft copies of their material to the Editor. Email submissions must be accompanied with a hard copy. The last date for submission of articles, poems and reviews for the inaugural issue is 31st December, 2008.

Creative Saplings

The Second Issue of the journal www.creativesapling.com is now online. The present issue is Guest edited by Nar Deo Sharma(Alwar), a veteran scholar, poet, stylistician and critic of repute. The chief features of the issue are as follows:

There are two interviews in this issue. One is titled ‘Ruth in tears amid the alien corn: An email based academic chat with Karen Alkalay-Gut by Nilanshu Kumar Agarwal and the other is titled ‘Literary Legend speaks: Interview with Mahendra Bhatnagar by Anil Kumar Sharma, editor Contemporary Vibes (Chandigarh)

Creative Corner:

The creative corner is divided into two sections: Poerty and Short Story. In short stories section four short story writers are included and in poetry section some thirty seven poets from India and abroad are included.

Literary Criticism:

This section is divided into three sections; the first section consists of critical papers by the critics of different streams viz. Poetry, Fiction and Drama and the chief critics of this section are Nandini Sahu, Mohamad Motiee(Iran), Nar Deo Sharma, G A Ghanshyam, Jyotirmoy Prodhani, Kalpna Rajput, Shaleen Kumar Singh and Bilal A Shah; the second section consists of reviews of Books of Poetry, Prose, Drama and Short Stories and the chief reviewers are Tasneem Shahnaz, Shaleen K Singh, Kalpna Rajput and Ratan Bhattacharjee and the third section is of Stylistics in which the guest editor has chosen a poem for his stylistic analysis under the title ‘Stylistic Analysis of AJSA's Poem: IN FRONT OF TAJ MAHAL - PRED TAJ MAHALOM’
